In a significant move, APCOA, Europe’s leading parking provider, has joined forces with CTEK, a global EV charging specialist, to install cutting-edge charging points across APCOA‘s vast UK network.
APCOA’s Extensive Network Goes Electric
APCOA manages a staggering 1.8 million parking spaces across 13 countries. This new partnership with CTEK will see their CHARGESTORM CONNECTED units delivering fast-charging capabilities of up to 22kW in APCOA’s UK car parks. This is a significant boost for EV drivers seeking convenient charging options while parked.
Building on Existing Infrastructure
APCOA is already a leader in EV charging within the UK. Currently, over 1,000 charging points are operational in their car parks, with an additional 300 planned for installation this year alone. These charging points cater to a diverse range of destinations, including railway stations, hospitals, educational institutions, and more.
CTEK’s Advanced Charging Technology
The initial rollout of CTEK’s charging points has already begun in car parks owned by Hillingdon Council in West London. Additionally, APCOA is equipping 37 railway station car parks operated by Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) with CTEK technology.
