This collaboration brings together Emobi’s patented JustPlug technology with ElectricFish’s grid-independent charging depots. The new partnership aims to solve two significant barriers to mass EV adoption: the speed of charging and the limitations of existing grid infrastructure.
Eliminating Barriers with a Two-Pronged Approach
The deployment of new fast chargers is often hindered by lengthy and costly grid upgrades. These processes can take up to two years and exceed $100,000 per installation. This partnership directly addresses that problem. ElectricFish’s 350Squared system, with its microgrid-scale energy storage, delivers ultra-fast charging while dramatically reducing the need for expensive grid upgrades by up to 90%.
Simultaneously, Emobi’s JustPlug technology solves compatibility issues. It enables 80% of existing EVs and chargers—which lack traditional Plug & Charge capabilities—to experience seamless, automatic charging. The technology also enhances security through encryption and certificate authentication.
