Øyvind Stavland Osjord Appointed Easee CEO Following a Turnaround

STAVANGER, NorwayEasee has appointed Øyvind Stavland Osjord as its new Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Anthony Fernandez after the two led the EV charging company through a comprehensive turnaround as CEO and CFO.

Osjord has served as Easee’s Chief Financial Officer since February 2025, a period in which he played a central role in strengthening the company’s finances and operations. He joined Easee from the listed company Goodtech ASA, where he was CFO, and has previously held senior leadership positions at SAR and Roxel Group. Earlier in his career, he was part of the investment team at private equity firm HitecVision.

Internal succession

Getting the opportunity to lead this fantastic group of people is a dream,” Osjord said in a statement. “I have had the chance to work closely with Easee through an important phase for the company. That means I step into the role with both respect for what has been achieved, and strong belief in what we will build next.

Chair of the Board Sigvart Voss Eriksen said the board was pleased to see an internal candidate take the helm.

Øyvind knows the company, the organisation and the markets well. He has been involved in the most important decisions and has proven himself to be a thoughtful and highly capable leader. It is also a strength that he comes from within the company. We have full confidence in his ability to lead Easee into its next phase,” Eriksen said.

From loss back to profit

The leadership change follows a period of significant recovery. Fernandez took over as CEO in July 2024, when Easee was coming off a loss of NOK 414 million. The company has since returned to profitable operations, strengthened its market position in Europe, and secured new long-term ownership through Brødrene Jensen and AWC. The turnaround has been described as one of the most successful in Norwegian industry, making the handover a natural shift from rebuilding to growth.

When I joined Easee, the mission was clear: to create stability, rebuild trust and lay the foundation for further growth. We have succeeded in that – and more,” Fernandez said. “Easee is back on top, and I am proud of how far we have come together. That is why this feels like the right time to pass the baton on.

Fernandez hired Osjord as CFO in February 2025, and the two have worked closely since. He will remain in an advisory capacity over the next two months to ease the transition.

Øyvind has been part of all the major efforts during this period. He is well equipped to take Easee forward,” Fernandez said. “Over the next two months, I will contribute to making the transition as smooth as possible, both for Øyvind and for the rest of the organisation.

Eriksen credited Fernandez with steering the company back to health. “Anthony took over Easee during a demanding phase and has led the company back to profitable operations, with solid ownership in place. That is an achievement few can deliver in two years. He leaves behind a company with strong conditions for further growth,” he said.

No strategy change

The company said the change does not alter its strategy or purpose, and that it will continue working toward the same goal of making electrification easier.

We have a strong starting point, a clear direction and a significant opportunity ahead of us,” Osjord said. “Now we will build on what has been created, together with customers, partners, installers and all the great people at Easee.
