Volue expands its Spark ecosystem with the inclusion of EVBox

Volue, a market leader in technologies and services that enable its customers to succeed in the energy transition, has announced that EVBox has joined its Spark partner ecosystem.

Founded in 2010, EVBox is a leader in offering electric vehicle charging solutions. It has delivered over 500,000 charging ports to its partners and customers globally. The solutions EVBox offers include charging stations for residential, commercial, and fast-charging network usage, as well as charging management software.

Spark by Volue is an ecosystem of partnerships and services that seamlessly integrate connected resources – such as rooftop solar, batteries and electric vehicles – within a sustainable and scalable neighbourhood energy system.

The ecosystem was introduced to enable automakers, EV fleets, and charging operators to provide their customers with even greater value, helping them to remain competitive and profitable.  The Spark partner ecosystem, now spanning Europe and the Nordics, is dedicated to maximising the potential of smart charging services.

On the announcement, Kjetil Storset, Spark Lead, Volue said:Through the power of partnership, we’re driving innovation in the world of electric vehicle charging. By harnessing the insights of volatile energy prices and grid constraints, courtesy of Spark, we empower partners to choose the optimal moments to charge EVs, not only saving on their energy costs but also nurturing a greener, more sustainable energy landscape.

We are delighted to see this partnership grow with today’s announcement. EVBox strives to empower society to embrace electric mobility and their vision, paired with those in our Spark ecosystem, will support the seamless integration of connected resources within a sustainable and scalable neighbourhood energy system.”

Geir Bjørnstad, Regional Director Nordics at EVBox, added: “We are very happy to be collaborating with Volue with whom we share the mission to provide solutions for a sustainable future. We believe that we’ve entered the electric era where electric driving is becoming the new norm. Integrated and connected solutions are needed to make this transition for current and future electric car drivers as seamless as possible.”
