Jackery Introduces AI-Driven Home Energy Management and BIPV Solutions at Intersolar

MUNICH, GERMANY — Clean energy hardware manufacturer Jackery unveiled its latest residential technology portfolio today at the Intersolar Europe 2026 exhibition. Under the theme “Power All, Power Smarter,” the company highlighted its move from portable power stations into integrated residential energy systems, introducing an automated energy management layer and integrated solar roofing solutions.

The main highlight of the exhibition is the global debut of the Jackery Ark AI EMS, an artificial intelligence-enabled Home Energy Management System (HEMS). The system operates as an intelligent control center, shifting home energy infrastructure from basic localized grid layouts to automated, predictive control.

Intersolar 2026 Quick Facts

  • Event: Intersolar Europe 2026 (Part of The smarter E Europe)
  • Dates: June 23–25, 2026
  • Venue: Messe München Exhibition Center, Munich, Germany
  • Jackery Exhibition Space: Booth C2-150
  • Official Media Hub: Jackery Press Portal

The Intelligent Core: Algorithmic Management

The primary function of the newly launched Jackery Ark software system centers on automated load-shifting, cost optimization, and peak-shaving operations. The HEMS is engineered to dynamically cross-reference real-time household electricity consumption with solar production curves, battery charge status, and varying local utility tariffs.

Jackery claims that by running 24-hour predictive forecasting models that integrate upcoming regional meteorological sunlight patterns with learned home behavior, the system can reduce utility bills by up to 75%. According to company press materials, this figure represents maximum estimated savings when deploying a unified solar-and-battery setup compared to standard residential solar configurations that lack stationary energy storage.

Rather than running an automated “black box” architecture common to modern machine learning applications, Jackery noted that the platform logs the variables driving every automated power-routing decision. The user interface remains configured to ensure that manual user overrides always take priority.

Key Functional Attributes of Jackery Ark AI EMS:

  • Predictive Tracking: Continuously analyzes real-time solar generation, household consumption, weather forecasts, battery status, and dynamic electricity tariffs.
  • Targeted AI Operating Modes: Offers three flexible operational profiles designed to align with distinct user priorities, specifically balancing utility cost savings against full energy independence.
  • Expandable Energy Hub: Built on an open framework engineered to support the integration of future connected devices, third-party applications, and upcoming energy services.

Hardware Infrastructure: Modular Storage and BIPV Architecture

Complementing its software ecosystem, Jackery detailed physical additions to its home product segment, led by the modular SolarVault Series 3 storage system and the integrated Jackery Solar Roof.

The SolarVault Series 3 is an all-in-one residential storage unit engineered to handle high-current continuous charge and discharge thresholds, supporting high-demand appliances during outages. Built on a modular platform, the system allows capacity configurations to scale from a base level to meet exact residential targets.

According to company data, the SolarVault Series 3 recorded a 4,896% surge in unit sales and a 6,790% jump in revenue during its initial month of retail availability in Germany, comparing opening performance metrics directly to previous-generation hardware baselines over the same year-on-year period. Following this European deployment, Jackery announced that the storage system is scheduled to launch commercially in the United States during Q1 2027.

The company also introduced its curved building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) asset, the Jackery Solar Roof. Developed in specialized Graphite and Terra Cotta designs to match traditional European clay and concrete roof tile arrays, Jackery states the building asset yields a peak power density of 170W per square meter under standard test conditions (1,000 W/m² irradiance at a 25°C cell temperature).

For backup power during grid disruptions, the manufacturer introduced its premium FridgeGuard refrigerator backup system alongside three new localized hardware variations for the North American market: the HomePower 3600 Pro Max, HomePower 2000 Plus v2, and HomePower 1000 v2. These tiers function as secondary backup options that route emergency power whether wired to utility grids, standalone DIY solar panel strings, or balanced hybrid inputs.

Market Context

The rollout of connected home networks coincides with broad regulatory tailwinds across Europe, the United States, and Japan. Policy incentives driving distributed storage installations, balcony solar kits, and residential net-metering structures have accelerated macro demand for autonomous hardware lines.

As established portable battery suppliers increasingly expand into permanent residential systems, hardware companies are shifting toward comprehensive energy management platforms to help consumers manage volatile utility prices.
