TORONTO, ONTARIO — Canadian electric vehicle charging network Swift Charge has announced a major national infrastructure expansion in partnership with InnVest Hotels, the country’s largest hotel owner and operator.
The nationwide rollout will deploy Swift Charge EV charging solutions across more than 70 hotel properties, bringing more than 300 chargers to commercial hospitality locations spanning from coast to coast. The companies confirmed that approximately 50 hotel locations are already live and operational, with ongoing installation phases actively advancing through Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec.
Scaling Destination Charging Infrastructure
The strategic collaboration aims to capture the expanding destination charging segment, accommodating the baseline infrastructure needs of EV drivers in both high-density urban centers and regional travel corridors.
Swift Charge, which is operated by EGrid Systems Inc., is providing a comprehensive turnkey solution to handle the geographically distributed nature of the portfolio. The service deployment covers hardware installation, backend network management software, real-time monitoring, and complete long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) protocols designed to withstand diverse Canadian operating environments.
The project timeline sets a rapid pace for the remaining site conversions.

“We see great value in scaling our EV offering to all travelers across the InnVest portfolio from coast to coast,” stated Ryan Vader, Senior Asset Manager & Corporate Impact Chair at InnVest Hotels. “We expect to outfit all hotels by the end of 2026.”
Supporting Sustainable Hospitality
As consumer demand shifts toward businesses offering reliable eMobility amenities, hospitality infrastructure is increasingly acting as a bridge for long-distance regional EV transit. The partnership allows InnVest to leverage commercial properties to directly lower barrier entries for cleaner transportation and sustainable tourism across Canada.

“Our focus is on delivering a dependable, hotel-tailored charging experience that works consistently across a wide range of locations and operating environments,” added Sheldon Zhang, CEO of Swift Charge.
