FREMONT, Calif. — EnerVenue Holdings, Ltd., a pioneer in grid-scale energy storage, has appointed Rahul Mehta as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Based in Singapore, Mehta will lead the company’s global commercial strategy as EnerVenue scales deployment of its fourth-generation Aqueous Metal Cell (AMC) technology.
In his new role, Mehta will oversee sales, business development, marketing, project delivery, and long-term customer services. His primary focus is building the commercial pipeline and partnerships required to match the company’s expanding production output.

Commercial Growth and Alternative Chemistries
Mehta brings over 15 years of international energy sector experience to EnerVenue. He most recently served as Vice President of Sales for Asia-Pacific at Fluence, following earlier commercial leadership roles at Hitachi Energy and ABB.

While lithium-ion remains the dominant choice for grid-scale energy storage, growing demand for long-duration assets and operational safety is driving adoption of alternative chemistries. EnerVenue’s non-lithium AMC system is engineered for up to 30,000 cycles over a 30-year lifespan without thermal runaway fire risk.
An early installation of the fourth-generation AMC technology has been operating since November 2025 at a Towngas facility near Changzhou. The site pairs renewable generation with electric bus charging, using the system’s deep-cycling capabilities to manage load demand and lower energy costs.
“The market still leans heavily on lithium-ion, but as demand profiles grow more complex and customers ask for greater safety, longer life and more flexibility, lithium-ion increasingly has to be complemented by other chemistries,” said Rahul Mehta, Chief Revenue Officer at EnerVenue. “Having spent my career in this sector as storage has scaled, I believe EnerVenue’s technology is genuinely differentiated in meeting where the market is heading.“
