May 26, 2025 – Clever and PowerGo have announced a new partnership, making nearly 1,000 additional charging points available to Clever One customers in Denmark at no extra cost . This collaboration, effective today, aims to improve the utilization of Denmark’s existing charging infrastructure and provide electric vehicle (EV) drivers with easier access to charging. Clever is Denmark’s largest charging operator, and this agreement encompasses all of PowerGo’s current and future chargers across the country.
Expanded Access and Network Strengthening
PowerGo’s Danish charging network currently comprises nearly 1,000 charging points. These include 65 fast and ultra-fast charging points. They are distributed across the country: near big cities, villages, and central charging hubs. Among these are 14 ultra-fast charging points at Lillebælt Syd, offering charging speeds up to 400 kW. Clever continuously expands Denmark’s strongest charging network and forms partnerships with other charging operators.
Mathias Langkilde Sukstorf, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Clever, stated: “We want to make it easy, safe and flexible to drive an electric vehicle in Denmark“. He added: “With our new partnership with PowerGo, we’re opening the door to around 1,000 new charging points across the country, now accessible to our Clever One customers at no extra cost“. This significantly strengthens Clever’s charging network. It gives customers even more freedom to charge when and where it suits them. Clever’s app and charging tag can be used on all PowerGo chargers in Denmark.
Accelerating Green Mobility and Efficient Infrastructure Use
PowerGo looks forward to the partnership and welcoming Clever customers. Paul Sieljes, Head of Operations at PowerGo, commented: “This new partnership with Clever supports our ambitions to accelerate the transition to green mobility“. He emphasized PowerGo’s commitment to sustainable charging. He believes this should be simple, accessible, and efficient for everyone. Together with Clever, they are making it even easier to be an EV driver by creating more charging opportunities. This ensures better and more effective use of the existing charging infrastructure throughout Denmark.
