EV charging platform, Monta, today announced the launch of its AI-powered Network Operation Centre Agent (NOC Agent), illustrating how the company is embracing AI to transform charging network operations. Positioned as an autonomous layer for operators, the NOC Agent is already being deployed across the company’s platform, proving how automation can deliver reliability at scale.
Turning Hours of Troubleshooting into Seconds
The NOC Agent is Monta’s first AI feature designed specifically for network operations. Previously, operators had to manually analyze thousands of logs, firmware histories, and hardware manuals to find the root cause of an issue. Now, with the AI Agent, they can instantly pinpoint root causes, receive evidence, and get suggested fixes. This process, which once took hours of technical investigation, can now be completed in seconds.
The breakthrough came to light when a US operator saw a DC charger’s success rate jump from 31.2% to 98.3% in just 25 seconds of NOC Agent analysis. The agent identified a firmware mismatch that had caused recurring failures, allowing the operator to resolve the issue immediately and restore reliability.
A Unique Data Advantage for Real-World Results
Monta has embedded AI across its entire platform, building on a unique data backbone that spans 220,000 connected charge points, 3 million monthly sessions, and over 700 hardware models. This extensive data gives Monta a competitive advantage, allowing its AI to deliver real results in production while others are still experimenting. Already today, Monta’s AI solves 75% of customer support tickets before they ever reach a human agent.
Casper Rasmussen, CEO and Co-Founder of Monta, commented on the transformation. “Troubleshooting used to mean long nights with engineers digging through endless logs. With the NOC Agent, those hours turn into seconds,” he said. It’s not just about fixing chargers faster – it’s about redefining what operational excellence looks like in EV charging.“
Paving the Way for Operational Excellence at Scale
Rasmussen will share his forward-looking perspective at Move America in Detroit this week. According to him, the time for automation in EV charging has moved from optional to essential. The AI-powered agent enables small teams to run thousands of chargers at a higher quality than ever before, which will transform the industry. Rather than being stuck in reactive troubleshooting, operators can now focus on strategy, partnerships, and customer growth.
The launch of the NOC Agent marks Monta’s intent to redefine the role of charge point operators and help build a future where AI ensures uptime, efficiency, and resilience at scale.
