Appearing on the market at the end of the 2010s and then launched in its second generation in 2018, the Nissan Leaf now only appears in the background in sales of electric cars. In 2021, 2,648 copies of the compact were sold in France, 30% less than the previous year. To continue its existence in the market that has become increasingly competitive, the manufacturer is making a few minor changes for the 2022 vintage.
Nissan Leaf updates
The changes made by the manufacturer remain subtle. In terms of style, the 2022 Leaf features new 16- and 17-inch rims with reworked aesthetics and a new smooth black surface at the grille. Added to this is the new Nissan logo, as well as an expanded color palette with two new shades: Sukumo blue and Magnetic blue.
On the technological level, we obviously find the ProPilot driving assistance device.
Nissan Leaf mileage range
Available in two battery configurations (40 or 62 kWh), the Leaf offers a range of up to 385 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
for recharging, the manufacturer persists in offering CHAdeMO for fast recharging, a standard that unfortunately is set to gradually disappear in Europe with the generalization of the Combo.
