ZAPI GROUP to Showcase Integrated Electrification Solutions at The Battery Show USA 2026

ZAPI GROUP will demonstrate on-board and off-board charging systems, electric drive products and hybrid electrification technologies at The Battery Show North America in Detroit from October 13–15, 2026.

Exhibiting at Booth #6038, the company will present solutions for OEMs developing electrified construction machinery, municipal vehicles, off-highway equipment, marine craft and power-sports platforms.

Delta-Q advances high-voltage charging with ZQ Series

A key highlight is the new 7.2 kW high-voltage on-board charger developed by ZAPI GROUP subsidiary Delta-Q Technologies. The system is designed for machines using 100 V to 800 V battery packs.

Housed in a liquid-cooled, IP67-rated enclosure, the system combines:

  • A 7.2 kW on-board charger
  • An independent, isolated 1 kW DC-DC converter
  • An EVSE interface compliant with global charging standards

“Our journey into high-voltage solutions began just one year ago with the introduction of two development platforms for the battery-electric vehicle market,” said Rahul Baliga, VP of New Product Introduction at Delta-Q Technologies. “Over the past year, our new ZQ Series 7.2 kW onboard charger has undergone extensive customer field trials, providing valuable performance and application insights. We are now advancing into the product sampling phase and invite OEM partners to collaborate with us in developing charging solutions tailored to their unique system requirements.”

The announcement does not provide the charger’s efficiency, weight, dimensions, connector configuration, pricing or commercial availability date.

V2X, off-board and low-voltage charging portfolio

Alongside the 7.2 kW on-board charger, ZAPI GROUP will display a 22 kW bidirectional OBC V2X charger and an 18 kW ultra-fast off-board charger designed for rapid, opportunity charging.

The company will also present 3.3 kW and 6.6 kW low-voltage charging platforms for lower-voltage machine architectures.

ZAPI GROUP has not disclosed whether the V2X or 18 kW off-board charger is commercially available, or which vehicle types will use them first.

Electric drives, hybrid systems and converters

Beyond charging, ZAPI GROUP will show electric drive products for high- and low-voltage machine architectures.

The XPM interior permanent magnet (IPM) motor is designed to provide high torque and operational efficiency in a compact, durable enclosure. The company says the design is intended to maximize runtime.

For integrated applications, the IMI solution pairs a motor and controller in a single package. It is available in high- and low-voltage configurations.

ZAPI GROUP will also display low-voltage inverters and controllers alongside its high-voltage ACH3 series. The company will present the DCC3, described as a rugged, compact DC/DC converter update featuring native cybersecurity functionality.

Hybrid option for diesel machines

For OEMs not yet committed to full electrification, ZAPI GROUP will show its GSM hybrid system. It pairs a compact motor-generator with a low-voltage controller to provide electric assist for diesel engines.

The company says the system can support engine downsizing and emissions compliance. The announcement does not provide emissions-reduction figures, fuel-savings data, power ratings or deployment examples.
