The partnership is engineered to streamline high-quality DC fast-charging access for fleet, rideshare, and commercial EV operators across the United States.
Under the agreement, commercial drivers utilizing the Presto platform gain direct, in-app access to bp pulse’s expanding domestic network of ultra-fast charging hardware.
Optimizing Asset Utilization and Driver Uptime
The technical integration allows fleet drivers to use Presto’s mobile interface or open software APIs to locate active bp pulse sites, monitor real-time plug availability, and initiate charging sessions. By routing Presto’s diverse base of delivery, rental, and ride-hail partners to bp pulse terminals, the collaboration aims to reduce vehicle downtime, aggregate transaction reporting, and systematically drive higher hardware utilization across bp pulse’s footprint.
High-mileage commercial operations represent a critical segment for utilization forecasting. To accommodate these high-demand workflows, bp pulse has deployed high-capacity flagship “Hubs” situated along high-traffic commercial corridors and adjacent to major aviation hubs, such as Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
